"Dang, you're so dedicated, it's almost annoying."

It came from my friend over text when he invited me to his apartment to hang out. I politely refused for the fifth time this week because I've been at the fields in my free time practicing my free kicks for soccer. I have a decent kick but I want to improve it because I know it can be better, especially because we have a big game this weekend with an aggressive team.

I'll visit him after the game.

Hmmm... dang. It's been a long time since someone's described me. Oh! Actually, it was about a month ago, now that I think about it. My best friend told me, "[insert curse word that starts with the letter 'D' here], you're the most best-est friend I've ever had in my life, like, you're so understanding and chill and stuff, and that's what I like the most about you."

This was at a time when she was going through some personal issues, so I led a helping hand to comfort and counsel her. I felt really touched by that compliment, considering the fact, we've only known each other for about a month and a half. Somehow, we became close through text messages and Skype calls. Soon, we found out we had so much in common and boom! We became best of friends.

It comes up frequently but it's usually by a girl I sit next to in the classroom during class. 
"You're funny." That's what she says but I don't usually say anything funny so perhaps she thinks I'm funny looking? 
Maybe she's daydreaming  about some comedy movie or something and I'm just talking to myself.
I just made it a habit to just ignore her when she gets that way.
