I've been registered to this site for some time now, and have utilized the sites emulators to play many of my childhood games and to try out some that I never had the chance to play. I just recently grew interested in this sites community, as I found about the (new?) netplay function and playstation emulator. 
I was introduced to video games at a very early age and has played a lot of different games and owned many consoles (pretty much every popular disc based console except Xbox One, PS2 and 3, Gamecube, and the sega consoles)
I feel like I'll fit well into this community and hope I'll have a lot of good times here in the future!

Both the netplay function and the PSX have been around here for years, but not many people becomes interested in them, specially netplay for all the connection stuff. 

You're already one post away from becoming a member. However, I'm sure you won't let it sop there and aim for a bigger number.

The netplay feature has been around for a couple of years now. I'm in netplay chat regularly, so I hope to see you in there so we can play some games together!

Playstation 1 is available on the site although it requires the PS1 item from the item shop in order to play the games.

greenluigi : Thanks! I enjoy and have been enjoying this site for a long time now. And my favorite game is Kingdom Hearts 2, but my favorite game to play on this site is Super Mario bros 3 as I never finished it as a kid!

EX Palen : Oh, I've totally missed them during my earlier visits. While I suffer from a lot of delay while playing Netplay, and even losing visual of the game because of the screen freezing and such when playing game more graphically intense than the NES, I've had a lot of fun playing with my friends. I'm wondering if the huge delay (about 1 second) is because I'm living in Sweden, and if it would work better if I or somebody else would put up a Swedish server.

Also, you wrote "one post away from becoming a member", and I guess that's a typo, unless my post was really terrible ^^

EDIT: Accidentally read it like "one post further away", my bad! It's my reading that's derped, not your spelling! 

Jordanv78 : Thanks, I would love to play Netplay with you, if it wasn't because I'm so far from the host. I might try to fix myself a server for me and my friends to use so we too can play games from the huge assortment of games available on Vizzed ^^

I'll also try to stay active in the community so I can save up to the PSX item. But don't tell anyone, as I don't want them to know that I'm greedy :3

No, Ex Palen was referring to the fact that once you've been here a week and made ten posts, your power level changes from newbie to member. Your post was perfectly fine. lol

So you have a PS4? Or you've just played one? If so, what's your favorite game on it? I got one back in June myself, so I'm definitely interested in hearing what games others enjoy on it.

And I'm glad to see that you've taken an interest in the community. I hope that means we'll be seeing you around the forums often.

Oh and a final tip: to reply to multiple people in a single post, just start a new line off with their username (it must be typed exactly as it's displayed) and follow it with a space and a colon.

And, yeah, I got a PS4. My favorite game on the console right now is Infamous Second Son and First Light. Got platinum on both though, so I'm currently planning on finishing Final Fantasy Type-0 and then Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes before getting Phantom Pain!

I'll make sure to try to be as active as possible in the community, as it seems very kind and warm hearted. Getting a bit tired of all the negativity that you find in comment sections, so it's nice settling down in a forum for once.

Oh, you're from Sweden? Didn't notice that at first.

Yeah, the enormous distance from the server puts a lot of strain on Europeans like us. I've been planning for a while to create my own temporary server, and it will probably come true once I get my PS4 and try out streaming games.

Nice to see more European users around here. I've seen a couple more users from Sweden as well, Roy and Zlinqx. I'm sure those two will be happy to see you around.

PacmanandMariofan : Thanks, and sorry for the late reply, my Internet has been out (and will stay that way until, like, Tuesday).

I've actually used the netplay quite a lot since I found out about it, even though I experience delays and such since I'm in Sweden. I'm doing pretty fine just reading the help and FAQ pages, but I'll make sure to ask if there's something I'm not 100% sure about! : )

I sometimes have delays and other issues with netplay as well. I rarely use it but when I do I usually have issues (even though I'm in the United States)

catamandoo : This is pretty cool, I haven't seen a swede on here in a long time. As probably the only other active swedish person on the forums (or at least the only one I know of) I'd like to welcome you to the forums. I definietly wouldn't seeing more swedish game enthusiasts on here. If you don't mind me asking which city are you from? 

Anyways I hope you'll enjoy your stay here. There's a lot to do like playing games, being active on the forums, chatting in the chatroom and playing on the sites minecraft sever.

It would definietly be cool to have a netplay server hosted in europe, me and a few other members recently started working on opening a forum specifically aimed at european users, it's not open yet but hopefully will be soon. Plan is to help users find other europeans to netplay with and host tournaments specifically for people living in Europe since many have trouble with the timezones and are experiencing delays so that might be something you'll find interesting.

Zlinqx : Thanks, I live in Säter, but study in Borlänge which isn't very far away. I've pretty much only been in the retro game room and video game forums so far, but I would love to see a European forum or server. I haven't checked out the chatroom and minecraft server yet, but it would be a good reason to try out the newer minecraft updates, as I haven't played minecraft in ages.

Playing netplay with less delay would also be pretty swell. Do you know anyone who hosts netplay sessions in Europe?

catamandoo : I see that's cool, I live and attend a gymnasium in Malmö so that's somewhat of a distance, and there is no European server yet but I think there's a lot of people including myself who would love to have one so it might happen sometime in the future. And I've played a lot on the site minecraft server in the past and still log on from time to time, though I don't play minecraft nearly as much as I used to. It can be a lot of fun and the people on there are really nice.

So yeah like I said no server yet, once we start up that forum I was talking about though we're hoping to make it easier to find people from Europe to play with, so I'm pretty excited about that.
