HIM on suomalainen, viisihenkinen rockia ja metallia soittava yhtye. Yhtye itse kuvailee musiikkiaan ”love metallic”, kriitikot usein alternative rockiksi, hard Rockiksi, goottirockiksi, metallic tai popiksi. Bändin genreä on vaikea määrittää lähinnä yhtyeen tasaisen musiikillisen tyylivaihtelun vuoksi. Tosin suurin osa yhtyeen tuotannosta on yhdistellyt raskassointisia kitaroita popahtavin melodiakierroin. HIM saavutti ensimmäisenä suomalaisena yhtyeenä Yhdysvalloissa kultalevyn albumillaan Dark Light (2005).[1] Yhtye on myös myynyt hopeaa muun muassa Isossa-Britanniassa Love Metal -albumillaan, sekä Yhdysvalloissa Venus Doomilla. HIM on kaikkien aikojen kaupallisesti menestynein suomalaisyhtye. HIMin levymyynti on karkeasti arvoituna noin seitsemän ja kymmenen miljoonan kappaleen välillä.[2] Yhtyeen johtohahmo on laulaja Ville Valo.
Yhtyeen suurimpia kappaleita ovat ”Join Me in Death”, ”Poison Girl”, ”Right Here in My Arms”, ”Wings of a Butterfly”, ”Killing Loneliness”, ”Your Sweet 666”, ”In Joy and Sorrow”, ”Wicked Game” (cover), ”Buried Alive by Love”, ”The Kiss of Dawn” ja ”The Funeral of Hearts”. Yhtyeen keulakuva Ville Valo on sanonut yhtyeen esikuviksi seuraavia kokoonpanoja: Kiss, Iggy and The Stooges, Iron Maiden, Type O Negative, The Sisters of Mercy ja Cathedral.

So they're saying the Titanic 2 is going to be unsinkable? Uhm they said that about the first one and look what happened. Well, if they had stayed on their speed and not increased it, they could have avoided that ice berg. But I think the lesson of the day is, never name your ship Titanic on any circumstance. LOL.

No ship is unsinkable. Also why is it being made in china? The product that come from that country break so easily.

warmaker : The idea of it being a musueum would be interesting, all though by all acounts i only see it being described as a liner. Regardless though, i think money is more of a factor than respect.

thenumberone : I completely agree.  He's showing respect for history but like everything else, it's gotta be affordable through ticket sales.
The guy's making money.  But isn't it nice that because he's making money he can do something like this?  I pretend it's for the greater good.

I hate to mention this, but having it built in China doesn't seem like a good idea. The workmanship quality over there ins't that great. I understand that labor is cheaper, but still. When I was younger, I always wondered if there will be another Titanic dedicated to the first one, looks like it will happen.
